Throughout the development of the Essay-Zone™ resource, Academic-Zone instructors began considering outreach to specific audiences through tailored support. This support is built around in-program tools from students of the same background, heritage and ethnicity - role-models that students can relate to and feel inspired by. This led to the development of an Aboriginal version of the Essay-Zone™ resource guided by the expertise of a range of talented and resourceful committees and individuals in the Aboriginal community. This version of Essay-Zone™ positively impacts Aboriginal students with culturally sensitive learning modules and exercises.
